SUN Volunteers & Leaders Honored as ‘Brooklyn COVID-19 Heroes’

On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams honored more than 186 Brooklyn Covid-19 Heroes. Sustainable United Neighborhoods, as well as Co-Founder Jay Solly and Board Member Nicky Wei, received citations for relief efforts during this Pandemic. Son of Brooklyn, Dr. Anthony Fauci was also one of the honorees, joining the assembled recipients at Borough Hall via video feed.

“It is an honor to be included in the same cohort as Dr. Fauci and so many incredible organizations and residents who showed true ‘Brooklyn grit’ in these difficult times,” said Jay Solly.

”Our efforts for our community do not end here. Our community remains in dire need and we are especially grateful to all the volunteers, staff, civic leaders, and other community partners who joined with SUN to redefine resilience,” added Nicky Wei.
