SUN Arts Curating Local Youth Art Exhibition, Created in Quarantine

SUN Arts is seeking local youth artists to submit artwork made during their time spent at home while social distancing for our Created in Quarantine public gallery and online exhibition at The Bushwick Generator.

Deadline to submit:

You may submit your artwork to be installed, however, space is limited. First submitted, first displayed. Work will be curated and installed as received during each exhibit, and will mirror the ever changing conditions of the quarantine. This is not a juried exhibition, but SUN Arts reserves the right not to display work that conflicts with the “all ages” nature of the exhibit.

Entry Guidelines:

  • Open to ages 14 - 19

  • Accepting all mediums

  • Work must have been made between March and August 2020.

  • 3 entries allowed per artist to ensure maximum display opportunities for everyone. 

  • Artwork must be your own original design

Submissions for Created in Quarantine must include the following:

  • Artist Name 

  • Date of completion

  • Title of work

  • Medium

  • Dimensions of artwork

  • A short description of the artwork and how it was inspired by your experience during the Stay Home, Stay Safe quarantine to date.

  • Retail Price if for sale.**

** Should you be interested in selling your artwork, please include that information when you submit for consideration. SUN Arts will work to facilitate sales for original artwork and high quality prints for any artists interested.
